About Emily Sullens

With over three years of experience as a Career Services Coordinator at North Georgia Technical College, I help students transition from their role as learners to their role as workers. I use my background in skills analysis, communication, and interpersonal skills to provide individual and group guidance on resume writing, employability skills, and job search strategies. I also plan and host job fairs and workshops to connect students with local business partners and enhance their soft skills. In addition to my career services role, I have a background in both the hospitality and the accounting industries, which enables me to organize events and maintain proper documentation and budgets. I am passionate about technical education and its impact on the community and the economy. I am committed to continuing my education and professional development through my involvement in professional organizations and leadership training opportunities. As a first-generation college student myself, I have learned the importance of constantly learning, whether formally or informally. My goal is to empower students to find their dream jobs and to contribute to the growth and development of the technical education sector.
