About Emily Tilbrook

Clinical and forensic psychologist who has, in the last 6+ years, been primarily working in management/supervisory roles. Prior to working in government, I worked in private practice, employee assistance programs, and in various training and educational roles (including university lecturing, tutoring and mining and construction safety training). I have found that I really enjoy the management roles and believe I have become a fair and supportive manager who is also able to support staff to work towards their full potential. Prior to moving into psychology I worked in administrative roles in a financial advice business. This gave me a good grounding in business and business management and I have been able to build from that base to improve my skills and competency in my recent management roles. My PhD also gives me a good grounding in research and evaluation.
