About Emily Torres

I am a teacher at Irving Independent School District, where I am responsible for preparing lesson plans and educating kids at all levels. In addition, I am an advocate in the field of public health. The promotion of health awareness and prevention in the community is something that I am enthusiastic about, particularly among communities that are diverse and underprivileged. At the University of Texas at Arlington, where I recieved a bachelor's degree in international public health, I gained knowledge about the difficulties and solutions that are faced in the field of public health on a global and local scale. In addition, I have acquired essential skills and experience by playing a variety of roles. I have a strong command of a wide range of skills, including phlebotomy and basic life support certifications, as well as proficiency in both English and Spanish. I am excited to put my talents and experience to use in a role that is both responsible and difficult, one that will enable me to develop professionally and make a contribution to the organization's objectives.
