About Emma Bauer
Hello! My name is Emma Bauer. I am a Senior Interior Design student at MTSU. Growing up, I always had a love for organization and re-arranging spaces. I would sit through church and class drawing floor plans. In middle school we adopted my younger brother who has Autism. Seeing how differently he experiences and interacts with the world opened my eyes to how important accessible spaces are and sparked a desire in me to pursue commercial interior design. Since being in school, I have gained so much insight into the important role that interior designers play in our society. I have gained a passion to create spaces that not only look beautiful, but enhance the human wellbeing. I am also passionate about bringing the outside world in, incorporating the natural world into my designs in order to fill our human need to connect with nature.
