About Emma Bell

As the ACOR NT/SA Regional Leader I bring over 18 years experience working in design and project management. For the past 11 years I’ve predominantly worked to deliver Commonwealth Major projects in both the built environment and infrastructure. ACOR continues to deliver key enabling design solutions across a variety of sectors in all States and Territories of Australia. ACOR has delivered projects in NT (NTG and Cmwealth) and SA for over 10 years. We are expanding our operations in NT and SA and committed to mentor and employ ‘local’ (inc indigenous) future design engineers, design project admin and managers. I’m a certified AIPM practicing project manager, NV1 security cleared and was recipient of the 2021 CDU Alumni ‘Industry Excellence’ Award. I’m intuitive, energetic, engaging and strategically driven by nature. I’m client centric and passionate about ensuring the client needs are always met. Also, i’m a qualified teacher & very passionate about ensuring staff are provided the right working environment, tools and professional learning to ensure they can be their best and work smarter to deliver quality, fit-for-purpose solutions. Driven to reduce our carbon footprint, I’m a qualified Green Star Accredited Professional with the Green Building Council of Australia in ‘Design & As-Builts’ and ‘Building Performance’. I’m an experienced Design Lead PMCA on MC contracts. I’ve co-authored the Green Infrastructure and Estate Master Plan (2045) for RAAF Base Darwin, and also facilitated the successful delivery of Commonwealth NT bulk fuel installation hazardous dossiers and other capital works projects/fitouts both in remote parts of NT and nationally. I was the NSW Defence Estate Works Program Mgr ($300M) for over 2 yrs based in Sydney. I’ve facilitated/Managed a senator PWC works hearing, cost estimates, led design phase development (safe/sustainable ESD design principles), procurement management, VM/Risk workshops, community consultation, contract, and quality output governance to achieve timely in budget pc/handover. I’ve also project managed master planning/site superintendent activities relating to NTG new residential sub divisions headworks (water, stormwater, sewer, electrical, water sensitive urban design, acoustics, roads and landscaping). Throughout the delivery of all of the above my ‘modus operandi’ was to ensure careful, timely and considered stakeholder collaboration. In my spare time I volunteer at the National Trust in Darwin, and also love watching AFL and like to go camping and fishing in Top End.
