About Emma Bell

I’m a generally registered psychologist and ANZAED credentialed eating disorder clinician with a warm, empathic and genuine disposition with strong personal and mental acumen. I take an integrated treatment approach, drawing on interpersonal, cognitive and behavioural strategies to treat a range of mental health challenges. I’m particularly interested in early intervention and collaboratively building support networks with individuals and families to create positive changes in mood, behaviour and overall well being. Developing strong relationships is the foundation of everything I do, both professionally and personally. I believe in creating a supportive and non-judgemental environment to assist you through life’s difficulties, and am dedicated to seeing people thrive and connect meaningfully to themselves and others. I possess strong quantitative research skills including statistical data collection and analysis including knowledge of logistic regression, cluster analysis and exploratory factor analysis. I am competent in administering a battery of neuropsychological assessments, possess excellent analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to effectively convey advanced topics in a relatable manner, including an exceptional written and scientific writing skill set with a detail-oriented nature.
