About Emma Beverley

Emma is a multi-artform Producer and Programmer. The work she has made and presented has toured across six continents, which has generated her international reputation for creating ambitious and inclusive cultural experiences. Currently, Emma is the Director of Programmes for LEEDS 2023 (formally Executive Producer). She is a member of the Executive, leading a creative team of 50 people in the delivery of hundreds of projects and events. The cultural programme includes commissions, residencies and exchanges in collaboration with 45 international partners. Emma is directly responsible for the Production, Producing, International Relations and Creative Learning & Engagement Teams. Previously Emma was a Director at East Street Arts, Executive Producer for Eclipse Theatre Company and worked as an Independent Producer for a diverse range of artists and organisations. Her specialisms include: International commissioning and touring Programming and producing Fundraising and financial management Staffing, planning and project management Audience development and engagement Emma is a Leeds Climate Commissioner, steering group member for Sustainable Arts in Leeds and Trustee for Hull Truck. In 10 years she has raised over £8.5m for individual arts projects and programmes. Emma is regularly invited to facilitate workshops, speak publicly, deliver lectures and participate in media interviews for radio, tv and written articles.
