About Emma Cheetham

I am a Director and Senior Program/Project Manager, with the ability to see the end to end of processes and improvements, from big picture strategic planning, through to the delivery of results. I offer a track record in change management and transformations, both technical and culture. An innovator (blue sky thinking), with the ability to lead diverse teams, on complex projects and programs in both the private and public sector. A brief overview of my more recent work history:* As Director at the Department of Education, I am delivering a project, that will uplift asset management capability and transform the Department into a data driven strategic asset manager. To date, I have achieved planning approval and funding, established a project team and successfully delivered an interim data analytics solution.* As Executive Property Portfolio Manager, Brisbane City Council I redesigned the organisational structure of 5 teams, delivered complex leasing strategies that improved leasing arrangements and drove change across workplace performance and behaviours.* As Manager, Property Optimisation, Auckland Transport, I led the design, development and delivery of a bespoke system that captured information across the entirety of the property lifecycle. I also led major retail projects, and increased revenue on the residential portfolio by 50% over four years.* As the Project Manager, Ministry of Business Innovation and Employment, I identified underutilised land and then delivered multiple projects for the development of affordable and social housing.
