About Emma Cole

As a qualified teacher with a 1st in Primary Education from the University of Northampton, I have a passion for science and technology and a keen interest in motorsport. I aspire to combine my love of education with my passion for STEM and motorsport. My dissertation focused on the gender imbalance regarding career aspirations in the STEM sector and encouraging young women to pursue roles in male dominated fields is a keen interest of mine. I have also gained valuable experience as a coordinator for the BRSCC Mazda MX5 Championships, where I was responsible for promoting and managing the three championships. I used my communication, organisation, and networking skills to work with drivers, suppliers, sponsors, marshals, medics, and other stakeholders, ensuring the smooth and effective running of the race meetings and the judicials. I enjoyed the challenge and the excitement of working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
