About Emma Cormican

I am a recent Rowan University graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics and a Master’s Degree in STEM Education - Concentrate in Math. During my tenor at Rowan, I competed on the Women’s Volleyball team and elected as Captain my Junior and Senior year. Prior to college, I was involved in a mentor program through my high school where I helped my peers create effective lessons and learn about childhood development within a preschool. This program led me to my field experience of helping out in a third and fifth grade math class during my senior year. During the summertime, I worked as a camp counselor with preschoolers. We spent full days over the course of eight weeks planning activities, performances and teaching children skills such as swimming, art, wood shop and more!
