Background

About Emma Costello

As an influential and driven Senior lawyer, I sit within the Senior Lead Team cohort of my Organisation reporting directly to the Chief Risk Officer, Executive Committee and Board. I manage the in-house legal team, comprising of 23 highly skilled individuals ranging from Senior Solicitors to Paralegals, collectively meeting the day to day needs of the Organisation by offering a multiple of specialisms across the legal function. I am responsible for all external legal instructions together with the ongoing management of relationships and service levels of all panel (and non-panel) appointed legal firms. 17 years in private practice and 5 years in-house, I have acquired a unique multi-disciplined skill set that is well placed within the housing sector. It is a privilege to be part of a NFP with a tangible social purpose and strong values that are displayed in every decision that is made.
