About Emma Davidson

I organize, lead, and support the camps at our Irsay Family YMCA of Greater Indianapolis. I head all youth and family outreach through family engagement events and programming throughout the year to help build a sense of connectedness between our centers and the families in our communities. Additionally, I manage the center's drop-in childcare services. Graduated from the Teacher's and Honor's Colleges at Ball State University, I achieved my Bachelor's of Education in Elementary Education with a concentration in Teaching English as a New Language. I also have a minor in Literature. Throughout my time at Ball State, I served as a Research Fellow for the Honor's College, a tutor for the university's Writing Center, a Sister of Alpha Gamma Delta, and a General Manager for College Mentors for Kids. I have developed skills in lesson planning, time and classroom management, copy editing, professional communication, and long-term research projects.
