About Emma Davis

My name is Emma Davis, and I am received my Master of Public Policy degree through the Joseph R. Biden, Jr. School of Public Policy & Administration at the University of Delaware in the Spring of 2023. I have taken a plethora of courses in Advanced Statistics and Environmental Policy that have made me proficient in Stata and allowed me and my classmates to work with Senator Kyra Hoffner on proposing an independent Redistricting Commission for the State of Delaware to the legislature. This was the gateway to my position as a Field Organizer for the Delaware Democratic Party, which utilized my policy analysis and strategic planning abilities as I worked to help lead three senators to victory. My work as a coach and a floating teacher strengthens my organization and leadership through my team-building activities and developing workshops to improve communication and collaboration. I plan to graduate from the University of Delaware with the intention of receiving a job within the policy realm with the hopes of concentrating on environmental policy and analysis. I want to raise public awareness of social and environmental protection through a job focused on environmental policy analysis.
