Wanted to work in writing, somehow ended up in a career doing a lot of math. SEO pulled a fast one on me, but I can honestly say I'm glad it did! I'm proud to be building a career as a digital detective, constantly learning in an evolving field and helping clients solve unique problems through SEO. I got to SEO through a winding path from journalism to translation to website management, and at some point it became clear that SEO was always there along the way. Words are a tool that can be crafted to create an experience with the user at the center - that's as true for SEO as it is for journalism. Following the career adventure wherever it may lead has landed me in some amazing organizations surrounded by fantastic talent, and I am always looking to learn and grow from the wisdom of others. SEO experience across the full stack from technical to on-site, strategic roadmapping, and everything in between. Writing experience in brand voice, SEO content, newswriting, proofreading, copywriting, and translating. Industry experience in CMS management, website operation, and just a touch of graphic design. Fluent in German and can translate into matching copy for either US or UK markets. Great at meeting deadlines. Almost overly communicative. Believer in the Oxford comma.
