About Emma Dix

I am passionate about finance and eager to pursue a role in equity research or as a supporting analyst. I am currently in the 4+1 program at Nichols College. I completed a BSBA majoring in Corporate Finance and Investments with a minor in Real Estate this past May, and am currently pursuing a Masters of Business Administration with a certificate in leadership. I have gained valuable skills and experiences in various industries, such as corporate finance, real estate, insurance, and construction. I have contributed to the Nichols College Student-Managed Investment Fund as a junior and senior analyst, conducting technical analysis and financial modeling. Through these roles I have been able to help lead my peers alongside a fellow senior analyst to support the portfolio. We analyze our investments through DCF modeling, staying educated on current news, trends, and events, and conducting fundamental and technical analysis. I was able to expand my insurance and risk analysis experience through working as a research assistant for a property and casualty insurance designation project, and as an intern for Lockton Companies, supporting the construction teams in Hartford and Boston simultaneously. Additionally, I have assisted Professor Maryann Conrad with Principles of Real Estate, enhancing my knowledge and teaching abilities in the real estate industry. Besides my academic and professional achievements, I have also been involved in extracurricular activities that reflect my interests and values. I have served as the Vice President of The Institute for Women's Leadership, a member of the equestrian team, and the founder of the Nichols College Music club. Furthermore, I participated in Drum Corps International from 2018 to 2020, winning first place internationally in 2019.
