About Emma Edwardes

Emma has a strong commitment for empowering others to be the best that they can be and live the life they want to lead. Emma has a gentle, friendly, warm coaching style coupled with the ability to listen, challenge and go deeper 'below the iceberg' and tease out what is important. Emma is able to do this within a trusting and supportive environment for the client. Emma is a coach through the International Coach Federation (ICF) through an Approved Coach Training Program (ACTP). It is crucial that any coach has their formal training through an accredited program and having completed a course that is credentialed by the ICF means that Emma has completed stringent education and demonstrated a strong commitment to excellence in coaching. Emma has strong coaching experience and has coached clients of different ages and backgrounds from within and outside government in the UK and within Australia. As well as a Coach, Emma is also a Facilitator and Mentor. Emma is from an English and Sri Lankan background and migrated to Australia from the UK in Emma has a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Archaeology degree and has worked nearly 20 years in the not-for-profit, government and private sector. She has been a carer for people with intellectual disabilities, a Juvenile Justice Program Manager, Employment Lawyer, Manager of Training, Senior Project Advisor and Senior Learning and Development Consultant. Her experience in her career and personal life have provided Emma with a deeper understanding of self-leadership and what it takes to develop strong self-awareness, enable transition and bring about positive change.
