About Emma Edwards

As a Business Development Manager at Digital Opportunity Trust (DOT), I develop and implement strategies to increase funding opportunities for the organization, which supports youth to become innovators and leaders in their communities. I also support the CEO with strategic accounts and speaking engagements, coordinate and prepare materials for internal and external events, and create business development opportunities with potential partners and donors. I have a Graduate Diploma in Business at Smith School of Business at Queen's University, where I am enhanced my skills and knowledge in business, commerce, and management. I have a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from the University of Ottawa, where I graduated with honors and received academic scholarships. I have a strong background in content creation, marketing strategy, branding, and communication planning, and I have applied these skills to various projects, such as redesigning an internal website for a technology department, developing a new audience-centric marketing strategy, and creating a social media strategy for a camp. I have a passion for digital engagement and relationship building, and I am always looking for new ways to learn and grow.
