About Emma Ehrlich

Hi there, I'm Emma. I graduated from Warren Wilson College in 2018 with a B.A. in Psychology. Since then, I have worked in the mental health field for over five years. To learn more about mental health and how to effectively support others, I have explored a variety of jobs. During and after college, I worked at a residential substance use recovery center where I witnessed incredible resilience in the clients while gaining my first clinical experience supporting them. My first job after moving to Seattle was as a Certified Behavior Technician, working with children who have autism. I applied the principles of cognitive behavioral therapy while learning about the challenges faced by people with neurodivergent brains. Currently, I work as a Mental Health Technician at THIRA Health, a PHP DBT program for women and adolescents. This position has taught me an immeasurable amount about the therapeutic process, interacting with clients, and supporting the process of change. I have thoroughly enjoyed developing a therapeutic relationship with clients at each of my jobs and helping to create meaningful change in their lives.
