About Emma Feagan
As a child, I was sponsored by the Smith Family and later lived in an informal foster care arrangement as a teenager. In 2021, I found myself exploring the child protection system as a research intern at Connecting Foster & Kinship Carers SA (the peak body for SA’s foster and kinship carers) and my interest in the child protection sector has remained ever since.
