About Emma Ferguson

Born and raised in Arlington, Texas, I somehow found my way to the small (yet big) town of College Station! I never thought I would end up in Aggieland, especially since I knew absolutely nothing about the University before my first tour of the campus. After learning about all of the amazing traditions that upholds the reputation of A&M, I immediately knew that I wanted to be an Aggie. Shortly after I officially moved to College Station in 2019, I joined my sorority, Gamma Phi Beta. This organization has not only brought me lifelong friendships, but has also provided me with skills that I can utilize for the rest of my life. I chose Communication as my major because I am passionate about building relationships with people. As for my coursework, I pursued classes such as Advanced Social Media, Intercultural Communication, as well as Communication and Conflict. These classes have opened my eyes to the world of Communication, and how it is essential for both personal and professional relationships. As for my minor, I chose Recreation, Park and Tourism Sciences to dip my toes into the world of Event Planning. After 3 short years, I graduated Cum Laude from Texas A&M University in May of 2022. I am currently living in Arlington and seeking a job in the DFW Metroplex. My goal is to find an entry-level job with an emphasis in Communication/Marketing/Social Media!
