About Emma Ford

Entering my second year of college I have had many experiences in the field that I am pursuing. I have worked at the local flower shop for two years and have had first-hand experience in the managerial department. This one-of-a-kind experience of working in the flower shop has led me to pursue an associate's degree in Business Management and Marketing with the ultimate goal of owning or managing my own business. I will continue pursuing my goal by attending New River Community and Technical College and majoring in Business Management. After the completion of my degree, I plan to look for a job in business and work my way up to a management or marketing position. After completion of my business management degree, I would like to assist local business owners and their businesses by helping manage a business and bringing new opportunities to Summers County. I would like to give back to the community by eventually opening my own business. This will provide new job opportunities to people with similar skills, while also putting money back into the community and helping contribute to the standard and quality of living.
