A Master of Public Policy recipient from Georgetown’s McCourt School with over six years of experience analyzing health systems, workforce, and programs through quantitative and qualitative research. Extensive work experience in non-profit and state and federal health policy, most recently serving as a Management Analyst at the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services for the Federal Marketplace. Conducted data cleansing and data transformation on complex data sets to provide insight on Virginia’s behavioral health workforce and Medicaid program. Used R, Stata, Datawrapper, Tableau and PowerBI to create data visualizations for topics ranging from the Medicaid Unwinding to Long Term Care Star Ratings. Developed and implemented a pilot program in the State of Virginia, supporting over 200 therapists in obtaining licensure. Analyzed data sets like the American Community Survey and Child Core Set for research on uninsured rates for children and mothers. Oversaw coverage transitions for individuals disenrolled from State Medicaid Programs in need of health coverage at the Federal Marketplace. Proficiency in subject matter pertaining to the ACA marketplace, Medicaid Unwinding, maternal and child health and programs, hospital facility fees, behavioral health and health workforce, Medicare, and long-term care. Selected as a 2024 Presidential Management Fellow, the Federal Government’s flagship leadership development program.
