Ever-curious, tenacious & lateral thinking British / Canadian with 4+ years of experience in social justice initiatives & litigation. Trained & qualified as a Solicitor Advocate at Imran Khan and Partners Solicitors (a campaigning firm renowned for reimagining the terms of racial justice in the UK in the Stephen Lawrence Inquiry) where I specialised in human rights proceedings (e.g. civil and personal injury litigation, inquests, judicial reviews, and national public inquiries). My clients included bereaved families, victims of sexual and domestic abuse, Bereaved Survivors and Residents of the Grenfell Tower fire, as well as vulnerable individuals targeted by police decision-making (including children and young people; members of the LGBTQI+ community; Black and Brown folks; and those with severe mental health conditions).
