About Emma Grissom

Soccer has always been a passion of mine. It has taught me many lessons that aid me in my life and career endeavors. Having played since I was five years old, I've grown up being a team player. I've taken this and expanded on it in the workforce by being a good team member, showing leadership, and having the communication skills to succeed as best I can. Soccer has also given me the opportunity to further my education and allow me to pursue the career I want. It allowed me to go to a great and beautiful university in South Florida, Florida Atlantic University, to pursue degrees in Marketing and Tourism and Hospitality. After graduating from Florida Atlantic University I decided to approach a more unique " tourism and hospitality" path. The path I chose to follow led me to attend ATP Flight School to obtain my pilot certificates. I now have my single and multi-engine commercial pilot's certificate, with an instrument rating, along side a certified instrument flight instructor certification and multi-engine instructor certification. Traveling and exploring the variety of cultures our world has to offer is something I value greatlt. Both my time at FAU and ATP have enabled me to get to a position where it is possible for me to achieve my goals and live a life that I believe will never get boring.
