About Emma Hendrickson

I'm a dedicated college senior studying quantitative economics and public policy with minors in international business and environmental studies. I am currently pursuing a career centered on social justice by way of environmental justice and international trade. My experience in legal/governmental internships and on-campus leadership in addition to over 6 years of restaurant serving has allowed me to develop a well-rounded approach to complex moral, economic, and legal issues. For example, I'm currently in the process of publishing my research on the racialized impact of landfill proximity on food insecurity in Florida public schools as it relates to Title VI enforcement, using GIS and econometric methods. Upon graduation, I hope to attend to law school with an emphasis on international and environmental law. My career aspirations are deeply committed to public interest law at a global level.
