As a graduate of the Masters in Business with Marketing from Waterford Institute of Technology I acquired an array of skills across all areas of business - Accounting and Economics, Management and Organisation and Marketing. Directly after completing my Masters Degree I was Marketing Manager with bpm junction, a start-up company in Waterford City. It is a platform that allows electronic musicians to expose their music and explore their talent while having access to industry opportunities. Ellickson USA, Buffalo, New York. During my time with this company I helped introduce a product to market as well as taking part in the marketing and advertising of the product through social media sites and through e-mail. I researched potential target markets and gathered the information needed by the company to analyse the scope of entering into different markets other than those they initially intended on. I worked closely with the C.E.O and President of the company during my internship and have learned from them how different business cultures can benefit a small business which is expanding rapidly. I am currently a Personal Lines Account Handler at McDonald Dwyer Reddy and Byrne Insurances and have four years experience in the Insurance Industry.
