About Emma Knettel

My name is Emma Knettel, and I am a Senior studying Consumer Behavior and Marketplace Studies at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. I also have certificates in Business Fundamentals and Entrepreneurship. I'm currently working as a Marketing and Communications Student Assistant for the College of Engineering's professional development sector called Interdisciplinary Professional Programs where I market their non-credit courses through social media and email. In addition to this position, I also work as a Front Desk Attendant at the Fluno Center, a campus hotel and educational center. I have leadership experience as the former Vice President of Recruitment of the Psi Chapter of Kappa Alpha Theta and as a current Humorology Script Director where I write and direct a short musical for a fundraising competition on campus. I'm interested in a career in retail merchandising, so I am pursuing a Retail Buying and Merchandising Internship at Blain's Farm and Fleet this summer to explore my interest and gain experience in the retail industry.
