About Emma Kwok

My dream is to nurture a more just, more empathetic world by connecting people and communities with the resources they need to further their wellbeing. A Master of Arts in Folklore (Memorial University of Newfoundland), I have been steadily gaining work experience with nonprofits: both those centered on supporting cross-cultural, intergenerational understanding and those which assist communities in sustaining and advocating for the traditions they love. I honed my ability to build relationships with diverse people and organizations; to create materials for communications; to manage and track data; and to provide administrative support for programs. My hope is to grow increasingly well-equipped in the skills and technologies important for charitable organizations, so that I can best support them and the communities they cherish throughout my career.
