About Emma Lamond

I am a Support Group Facilitator working in the Gender Based Violence sector in London. I work with women and children impacted by domestic abuse to support them to reclaim their lives and move forward to more stable futures. I am also a Theatre Maker and Arts Educator with extensive experience facilitating groups of children and young people in both educational and non-educational settings. I facilitate Drama and Arts workshops and specialise in providing support to those who need additional help accessing the workshop. I am committed to ensuring children and young people have access to a cultural education. I firmly believe that Drama can be utilised to increase confidence and communication in people, whether that be in a theatrical context, or in a broader setting. I am the co-founder of Yellow Coat Theatre Company (LLP) and the company's Lead Producer. We create professional theatre productions and run creative workshops. Our current focus is our Pass It On programme, which is a monologues project for emerging creatives from marginalised genders. our next production is at Theatre503 in November 2022. We previously have performed at VAULT Festival, Catford Fringe and Camden Fringe, as well as several other London fringe venues. I am also Artistic Director of Unblurred Lines theatre project; a programme that delivers Healthy Relationship and CSE Awareness drama-based workshops to children and young people, with a specialism in working with young people who are deemed to be at-risk.
