Hi! My name is Emma Laymon, and I'm currently curating music events and parties. I've been in the entertainment community my whole life, starting in concessions with my father, leading me all the way to Site Ops Office Management, merchandise sales, Artist Relations and more. I'm incredibly driven and passionate about this industry, and look forward to participating in every possible way to share music and experiences with people. Having recently graduated from Concordia University in December 2022, I moved to Dallas in April 2023. Outside of my recent degree, I have extensive knowledge of social media and its types of users, having started a successful Twitter account when I was just 15 years old, gaining followers in a matter of weeks. I also have minimal knowledge of Adobe products that I am actively working to improve - as well as Ableton and Rekordbox - but I am proficient in Microsoft Office software programs. I find myself to be very organized and good at finding the peace in chaos. I'm highly people-oriented and a very good problem solver, as it's part of my nature, but I've also had many years of experience in the service industry to improve upon those skills. Upbeat and positive, I'm always looking for the next task, prioritizing quality and timelyness. I look forward to any office, venue, contract, remote etc. opportunities in the entertainment industry. I'm open to a wide variety of positions and lines of work, my main goal in my career is to bring people together through music and entertainment in any and every way possible - to provide a space where they could possibly have the best night of their lives.
