As an experienced non-profit leader, I am committed to creating programs and strategies that empower individuals and families to succeed. With a proven track record of driving innovation and leading high-performing teams, I bring nearly 20 years of experience spanning strategic communications and engagement, community development, Indigenous engagement, fundraising, government relations, and program design and evaluation. What sets me apart? Building authentic connections, aligning diverse stakeholders around shared goals, and using data to inform strategy and measure long-term impact. From leading a 533% growth in Indigenous programming at Inn from the Cold to developing strategic plans that inspire action, I excel at turning big ideas into impactful results. I believe in the power of storytelling—leveraging data and lived experiences to advocate for change and influence policy. What motivates me? The intersection of leadership and purpose—whether it’s advancing reconciliation efforts, creating trauma-informed workplaces, or advocating for affordable housing and family supports. My work is deeply rooted in collaboration, innovation, and a commitment to fostering equity and inclusion in every community I serve. Of Mi’kmaq, Coast Salish, and Mixed European ancestry, I was raised as a Settler on Vancouver Island. While my family’s Indigenous roots were lost with the passing of loved ones, I am on a personal journey to reconnect with my cultural heritage and integrate it into my work and leadership.
