About Emma McAskill
Since graduating from the University of Central Florida in December of 2019 with my Bachelor’s of Science in Industrial Engineering, I began my career with Florida Power & Light as an associate engineer. In less than two years, I was challenged to take on a project manager role as a relocation coordinator. In this position, I am the liaison between FPL and FDOT District 6 and Turnpike. I coordinate, manage, and mitigate conflicts between FPL’s Distribution Facilities and FDOT’s roadway projects. On top of working full time, I graduated with my Master’s of Science in Engineering Management from the University of Central Florida in 2021. I am excited to continue to leverage my skillset gained through my academics and challenge myself at one of the top utility companies in the country.
