About Emma McGuire

When I was little, I used to get mad about the chore list my mom would print up and hand me.Not because of the very basic chores, but because she used the "Curlz" font. Just seeing those little barely-legible letters made my 10-year-old brain have a conniption. Fast forward 12 years, and I'm a graphic designer who cares about every detail that's in a project—down to the way the tails of letters curve and the relationship between a capital and a lowercase.Fonts are just the beginning. Balance and timelessness is something I believe is important within design—your brand should not be something that needs updating every time a new trend rolls around. Your brand should be an investment; your brand should be an extension and representation of yourself. The journey to perfecting your brand is something that excites me. I look forward to the brainstorming, sketching, and mapping out of an idea in order to bring it to fruition. Landing that perfect "YES" is something that provides me with a happiness like no other. Trusting the process and investing time, energy, and research into a project, as well as getting to help others, will always be at the root of my love for design.
