About Emma Meng

With over five years of experience in biomedical engineering, I am a passionate and innovative Senior R&D Engineer at Presidio Medical, a company that develops neuromodulation solutions for chronic pain management. My core competencies include design verification testing, data analysis, risk management, and project management. I am driven by the mission of improving the quality of life for patients suffering from chronic pain, and I bring diverse perspectives and experiences to the team as a bilingual engineer with a master's degree in clinical sciences.In my current role, I head the design verification process for Presidio Medical's neuromodulation Class medical device system, which involves testing the software, firmware, and hardware components of the product. I use my skills in design verification testing to report findings, collaborate with the software/firmware team, and ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations. In my previous role as a Lead R&D Engineer at Neuspera Medical, I successfully led multiple projects from design input to design transfer, and executed verification testing with external vendors. I also authored various design control documents, such as project development plans, risk management plans and reports, product requirements, and verification/validation test protocols and reports.
