About Emma Merrell

As a recent graduate of Durham College's Communicative Disorders Assistant (CDA) program, where I was honored to be on the dean's honor roll, I am passionate about helping others find their voice. My educational background in linguistics, coupled with personal and professional experience working with autistic children and adults, has equipped me with the skills to support individuals with diverse communication needs. Currently, I am a CDA at Aurora Speech Clinic, where I enjoy working with children, particularly those with complex communication challenges. My goal is to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those I work with by providing them with the tools and strategies they need to enhance their communication and thrive in their daily lives. I am committed to continuous learning and development in this field, always striving to empower individuals to achieve their fullest potential.
