I am the Education Services Manager at Empower Autism, a community-focused organisation with over 30 years of experience in creating positive social change with the Autistic community. Starting as a volunteer group, we’ve grown into a leader in supporting and empowering autistic individuals, while also educating the wider community in autism-affirming practices. As the Education Services Manager, I lead the team that delivers our Autism Works and Empowered Minds programs. These programs provide education on inclusion, accessibility, and autism-affirming practices for organisations and community groups. At Empower Autism, we have two main goals: To empower autistic individuals to connect with confidence as their authentic selves. To educate the mainstream community, helping remove barriers to connection. Our vision is for all autistic people to live with confidence, self-belief, and self-acceptance. Our mission is to empower them to reach their full potential through programs and services that focus on self-development and self-advocacy.
