About Emma Mohler

Hi, I’m Emma! I’m an undergraduate student at Indiana University majoring in Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences with a minor in Psychology. I’m passionate about supporting children with autism through evidence-based therapy and research. I’m currently broadening my clinical foundation by exploring occupational therapy and speech therapy to better understand interdisciplinary pediatric care. My experience includes: Student Research Assistant in the CARES Lab, conducting and analyzing pediatric hearing data Undergraduate Teaching Assistant in SLHS, supporting students in Phonetics under Dr. Tessa Bent 🫂 Direct Support Professional at LittleStar ABA Therapy, providing care and support to individuals in their homes and communities Vice President of the SLHS Student Advisory Board, leading newsletter publication and department collaboration Previously, I won a national title as a Division 1 athlete with Grand Canyon University, and I have received honors including Indiana University’s Dean’s List and the DAR Good Citizen Award. I’m deeply committed to creating inclusive spaces for children and families, and ultimately strive to bridge academia and clinical practice.
