About Emma Mulroy

Currently pursuing a degree in Biological and Biomedical Sciences at Trinity College Dublin. With an internship undertaken in Abbott Diagnostics in Summer 2023 and an internship with Baxter in Summer 2024, I am confident that I have gained an in-depth knowledge of both the MedTech and Pharmaceutical industries aligning with my career aspirations. I chose to pursue my undergraduate degree in Biological and Biomedical Sciences because of the wide fields of study. I have completed core modules in biology, chemistry, immunology and genetics. Adding to this I have completed modules in science communication, history, philosophy and ethics of sciences as well as biostatistics. I am a passionate and career-driven student with a key interest in the Pharmaceutical and MedTech industries. I am eager to learn, have excellent communication skills and enjoy working with people. My years of working in the hospitality industry have given me invaluable experience. I have interacted with a diverse group of people, which is an important skill in any industry. I also developed time management skills and how to multitask effectively.
