Background
About Emma Murphy
Hello! I'm a recent graduate with a Bachelor of Arts in Media Arts and Sciences (Music) from Arizona State University. I have knowledge and skills in MAX, Arduino, C++, C#, 3D modeling, Unity, Logic Pro, and Adobe Suite. In my time at ASU, I've delved deeply into creating interactive technology, such as a guitar pedal I built with analog circuit design, as well as a paintbrush instrument which utilizes a microcontroller programmed with Arduino. With this, the user can adjust musical parameters while painting, making it a multimedia experience. I was recently fortunate enough to work on a project with ASU and the Phoenix Children's Hospital which created superhero outfits for 10 patients - to celebrate the superheroes they are. I programmed a microcontroller soldered to LEDs, to create motion reactive lights which were sewed in one of the superhero's capes, so when he jumped or spun, the cape would light up. My goal is to continue working with tech that serves a positive purpose.
