About Emma Muth

I am a second generation Nevada educator. I leverage teachers’ skills and lived experiences to advance effective, equitable education policy at the state and federal level. In my work on the Teach Plus National Policy Advisory Board, I combine my teaching expertise, analysis, and advocacy skills to promote education policies that serve students in my home state of Nevada and across the country. My focuses include literacy, data quality, and teacher workforce development policy. In addition to my work with Teach Plus, I maintain my full-time teaching position with Clark County School District in Las Vegas. I serve as grade level lead in a Title I school. My peers would describe me as an empathetic, dedicated leader whose skills and accomplishments outweigh her years of experience. Currently, I am seeking opportunities in education and social policy that will allow me to utilize my skills in policy research, evaluation and monitoring, and advocacy.
