About Emma Pearson

A proactive and organised individual with a wealth of experience within events planning/coordination, team development and project management. A skilled negotiator with proven experience in working with a variety of stakeholders to meet project expectations. Able to communicate effectively at all levels with external and internal colleagues, collaborating on activities in order to develop and implement successful programmes. A wide knowledge of the education and training sector as well as the skills to identify the training or knowledge needs of others and assist in implementing action plans accordingly. Experience in leading a team including the training, support and induction of a variety of volunteers and staff. Within my most recent roles I have had the chance to supervise the activities of other staff within my team and support them with workload and decision making. In my previous role I have been instrumental in establishing and leading on the careers education strategy for the whole school. This has seen me using my initiative to progress the curriculum within all departments and liaise with corporate organisations to plan, deliver and evaluate careers related programmes. Within this I have collaborated and lead throughout all stages within the projects from creation to completion. This has enabled me to prove and develop on my strong interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills especially when managing the expectations of both internal and external stakeholders and multiple projects at any given time.
