As a recent graduate with a Master of Library and Information Science (MLIS) from San Jose State University, I am a versatile and highly adaptive library professional with hands-on experience in school and public libraries. I bring a strong foundation in library operations, collection development, instructional support, and patron services, with a passion for connecting communities to the resources they need. In my role as an Elementary School Librarian with Escondido Union School District, I independently managed a high-circulation library, planned and delivered curriculum-aligned library programming, curated collections, and supported students and staff with research and technology needs. My prior experience at Carlsbad City Library deepened my skills in circulation, customer service, and information access in a busy public library setting. I am committed to fostering inclusive, engaging, and user-centered library environments, whether supporting early literacy, helping a patron navigate digital tools, or maintaining a well-organized and accessible collection.
