About Emma Potter

After commencing her career in strategic marketing and brand advertising for large corporations and multinationals, Emma soon identified that her passion for advancing brands was best utilised in promoting organisations and causes that were close to her heart. This resulted in Emma founding Breadbox Marketing in 2007, building beautiful and authentic brands for dozens of businesses both large and small, always with a focus on social and ecological responsibility. In 2019, Emma used her experience of building hundreds of brands, to create her own – resulting in the launch of high-end, reusable products brand, Pelli Bags. The ethos of Pelli Bags is to tackle ocean waste from more than one angle. The products, made from highly sustainable materials, offer a high quality, stylish alternative to single-use plastics and food packaging, and in addition fund large-scale ocean, shoreline, and waterways clean-up events. These events focus on the removal of toxic microplastics from marine environments, where it is often mistaken for food, and ingested by bird and marine life, causing suffering and death. As well as running Pelli Bags, Emma now consults with large businesses on sustainability projects that help drive behavior change from within, and drive practices towards a reduced ecological footprint. “My belief is that being sustainable is a corporate responsibility. My passion is to help businesses and organisations to access knowledge and strategies for implementing long-term change towards a more sustainable future, for the good of us all.”
