About Emma Radbone

I am a teacher with 11 years of experience in a range of roles at Caritas College Port Augusta (2013), Nazareth Catholic College (2014-2022) and Saint Ignatius College (2023-current). Roles held-House Mentor Teacher (Campion 9.1)-Religious Education Coordinator of Mission at Nazareth Catholic College (with higher duties) and was a member of the Flinders Park Leadership team-House Coordinator (Mackillop House)-Assistant House Coordinator (McAuley House) and Mentor Teacher (McAuley House). I am trained/have had experience in teaching-Senior Chemistry (Stage 1 & 2)-Senior Biology (Stage 1 & 2)-Senior Nutrition (Stage 1)-Middle School Science, Mathematics, Religion I have recently completed a Graduate Certificate in Catholic Studies. In 2024, I’ve commenced the Aspiring Leaders Program with Catholic Education South Australia and a Masters in Theology with Australian Catholic University. Character strengths: Personable, kind, empathic, an effective communicator and listener, am honest, can establish rapport with staff, students and their families quickly, am adaptable and flexible when it comes to change. Special interests: Students with special needs and those with complexities, community and culture building, promoting Jesuit Catholic identity in alignment with contemporary culture. 2024: Teacher in charge of boys volleyball at Saint Ignatius College. 2023: Year 7 girls netball coach at Saint Ignatius College. 2022: Year 8 debating coach at Nazareth Catholic College. 2021: C3 Old Ignatians netball club coach.
