About Emma Richards

I am a values-driven and results-oriented senior professional with over 20 years of international experience across public, private, and non-profit sectors. My background spans strategic leadership, operations, and risk management including roles in complex, high-stakes environments. Highly analytical and commercially minded, I have a proven ability to mobilise people and resources, drive strategy, and deliver results through adaptive planning and operational excellence. I lead with clarity and purpose, balancing strategic thinking with decisive, evidence-based problem-solving. As a confident communicator and capable leader, I have successfully built and led diverse, geographically dispersed teams, often in fast-paced, unpredictable settings. I bring strong relationship-building skills, both internally and with external partners across sectors and cultures. I have a particular passion for wildlife conservation and am currently completing a Professional Doctorate in Criminal Justice, focused on law enforcement and wildlife crime. I thrive in roles that allow me to apply practical insight, mentor others, and build capacity in pursuit of real-world impact.
