About Emma Sexton

I am have been a mapping associate at KUB since 2023. I am currently in charge of service mapping and I actively train GIS students, and create specialty maps within my department. Since the end of 2024, I have taken on a role as the program manager for the Valve Maintenance Program. This includes data management, data analysis, writing reports, communication with field technicians, technical problem solving with field equipment, Arc Map/Arc Pro map creation, and AGO field app creation. Throughout the year I continually make updates to the app as needed, as well as track valve survey completion status, and update monthly for compliance. I have a year of experience as a GIS Analyst mapping military data and writing metadata for a variety of feature classes. I will be pursuing a Master of Science in Management Information Systems (online) in 2026. I graduated in 2022 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Geography from the University of Tennessee and was named Outstanding Graduate for my concentration in Landscapes & Environments and minor in sustainability. I am skilled in ESRI mapping, software, and data analysis; research, technical writing, and Microsoft Office Suite.
