About Emma Walker

Over the years of having varied employment opportunities I have managed to gain some transferrable skills that can be used in different industries which I have found quite helpful along my journey. Working as a Pathology Collector was an advantageous role of employment in my life as I not only got to work in a specific Clinical setting or a Doctor's Clinic but also in the Hospital as well. In that time working in the Hospital I worked in majority of the areas within the Hospital except a certain few. I gained customer service experience, working with the elderly and loved to give back to the community with my caring nature and knowledge of the profession. Since that position I gained casual employment with the Bendigo Jockey Club, which I currently still work at. Whilst this position is only casual, I then sought for more permanent employment at State Trustees at the Bendigo office which gave me experience and knowledge and an opportunity for a career change into Administration, as this was a contracted temporary position unfortunately my contract had finished. Now I am currently a Christmas Casual Store Assistant at Kmart.
