About Emma Watson

I’m an idealist who loves making things happen! I believe in the power of thoughtful philanthropy and strategic partnerships to unlock long-term change. I work with organisations who are passionate about empowering people affected by poverty to take the lead on sustainable, community-led solutions. In my ten years in the charity sector, I have: Founded an international development charity, grown it to a six-figure turnover, and handed it over to local leaders Built sector-leading partnerships with organisations including Unilever, Zurich and Comic Relief Developed an approach to creating new partnerships which raised £1m for a new charity and is currently helping Ripple Effect connect with organic farming experts Channelled some energy into my local community, setting up a local Refugee Welcome group and becoming a trustee of St Werburgh’s City Farm.
