About Emma Windle

Registered Nurse with a diverse range of clinical and non clinical based experience. I started my nursing career building a strong foundation of acute clinical knowledge and have been exposed to various areas such as Surgical and Medical Care, Cystic Fibrosis, Geriatric Acute Care Management & Rehabilitation, Rapid Assessment Unit & Short Stay, and Infectious Diseases. I have further developed my holistic nursing skills by also previously working in Community Care Nursing through Blue Care, helping enrich the lives of the elderly and allow them the opportunity to be given quality nursing care in their home and avoid return the need to return to hospital. I currently work within Urology Outreach, providing telehealth/phone based support to Urological patients from both Wide Bay and Brisbane region. When I get the time and opportunity, I like to learn Web development through the platform #100Devs. I hope to one day merge the two passions and make the use of technology a seamless integration to allow nurses to be able to further assist and engage with their patients.
