About Emma Wu

I want to utilize my creativity to create a lasting impact. I am a fixer, doer and thinker who wants to think of a meaningful solution in areas where problems reside, and design it with people in mind. I was always told that I day-dream too often and ask too many questions, so I’d like to use my abilities that I know best to think of ways to positively impact people who are experiencing hardship or unease. I have always loved playing with colours and shapes of different hues and sizes. This interestingly enough is probably how I would explore my creativity within UI design as well. I like that I can use my design skills to create a brand identity for a client, to be able to apply the same elements to an interface. User experience design plays an important role in making so many people’s lives easier, as we all depend on an easy-to-use interface in so many aspects of our livelihoods. I think that if I can visualize and create an experience that is well thought out with research and iterations, that it too can put a smile on people’s faces when they are interacting with my designs.
